Encouraging Creativity and Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine to Improve the Health of Mankind

“Being as long and far-reaching, Traditional Chinese Medicine is one of the crowning jewels of Chinese cultural history. Not only has it contributed to the well-being and prosperity of the Chinese, it has also benefited civilizations worldwide.

Our living environment has been changing with the rapid development of technology. While we now have greater knowledge on diseases and healthcare, the causes of diseases are also becoming more complex. TCM, with a great potential to cure diseases, has a bright future and is receiving worldwide attention.

The forthcoming 4th International Congress of Traditional Medicine 2007 in Singapore will definitely enhance the exchange and collaboration of TCM scholars and other medical societies worldwide. It would also promote the continuity, creativity and development of Traditional Medicine, so as to contribute more to the healthy living of mankind.

Organised by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Society and hosted by the Singapore Chinese Physicians’ Association (SCPA), the 4th International Congress of Traditional Medicine 2007 will be held from 17 to 19 November 2007 at Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre.”
