International Scientific Conference on Complementary, Alternative & Integrative Medicine Research

Als Fortsetzung des Münchener Kongresses über Evidenz basierte Komplementärmedizin ist für Mai 2001 eine internationale Konferenz in San Francisco geplant:

This conference will provide a forum to showcase the best examples of ongoing scientific research involving complementary, alternative and integrative medical therapies. This meeting is also intended to foster interdisciplinary, inter-institutional and international collaboration. Interested investigators from the United States and the international community are encouraged to participate.

Abstracts involving original research will be critically reviewed by abstract selection committees and those accepted for inclusion in the conference will be presented orally or by poster. Keynote presentations and a discussion regarding the possible creation of an international professional society or association of complementary medicine investigators will be included in the program. Awards for the best abstracts in each major category will be presented.
